Natural Black Obsidian, Polished Specimens

Obsidian is also known as  "volcanic glass/ dragon glass". It is formed by lava and is the very first ancient stone that man utilized on Earth, creating spears and tools, and its distinctly sharp edge (one of the sharpest materials on planet Earth) made the stone valuable and our unique history with obsidian dates back to ~7,000 B.C.E.

Obsidian is distinct for its very strong protective quality. In addition, obsidian is used for its cleansing quality, bringing us down to earth -- and then evoking our personal creative energies in a way that is both productive, meaningful, and suiting our creative strengths.
